Beloved Grandfather...They say there are no tears in Heaven,But that must be wrong. Because you took part of my broken heart, When you went away. I know my tears must have followed you, How else can it be? My Spirit feels broken,‘Cause you are no longer here with me. I cried to the Heavens, my tears fell like rain. So, I know my tears must be in Heaven,Things will never be the same.They say someday I will accept your passing, But, right now that can’t be true,Because part of me is in Heaven, My tears..... followed you....If tears could build a stairway,And memories were a lane. I would walk right up to heaven,To bring you home again.No farewell words were spoken,No time to say good-bye.You were gone before I knew it,And only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness,And secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you,No one will ever know. A million times I've thought of you A million times I've cryed If loving could have saved you You would have never died. Please always know I love you and no one can take your place; Years may come and go but your memory will never be erased.
